Branding and Domain Setup
This article will demonstrate how to set up your branding page and domains.
First, click your initials in the bottom left part of the screen, then click branding. The customization tab allows you to add email addresses that you would like to use for your support and porting emails, as well as a link for your help center. You can also enable SSO here. If you want to include icons and logos, you'll add them on the right side of the screen. Icons are shown in tabs on your browser, and the logo is shown on the top left part of your portal.
If you scroll down, you can add icons and logos for each product, fax, sign, and drive. If you do not add anything for these, they will be labeled as F, S, and D on the left panel.
Clicking the domains tab will bring you to where you are going to set up your domains.
This article includes instructions for GoDaddy and Amazon Route 53. You can click the word or scroll to whichever is needed.
GoDaddy
Custom Domain
This is the domain that will be used to log into the portal.
First, add your domain to the subdomain. Until your custom domain is set up and verified, you can log into the portal using your subdomain. You'll still be able to log in using the subdomain once the custom domain is setup.
Please note that the custom domain and email to fax domain must be different.
Next, click the field to add your custom domain. Once it's entered, click next.
This screen will display the information you insert into the new records in GoDaddy.
First, select TXT for the type of record.
Next, copy and paste the text under Field from the Telins portal and paste that into Name in GoDaddy. You'll also want to add .app after the text. You will not add your domain since you are already managing this domain.
Lastly, copy the text in Value in the Telin portal and paste it into Value in GoDaddy.
Next, add a new record and select CNAME for the type of record.
In the Name field in GoDaddy, type app without anything else. Again, since you're managing your domain, you do not have to type that in.
Lastly, copy and paste the value app.documo.com. into GoDaddy's value. Then click 'save all records'.
Your custom domain may take up to 24 hours to show as verified in the Telin portal. Once it is verified, it'll have a green 'verified' stamp next to the domain.
If it fails verification, you will need to check your records in GoDaddy and make sure they're all accurate, and that you did not add your domain where it is not needed.
You will set up your custom API domain the same way you set up your custom domain. A custom API domain is required, even if you do not use API.
